Your use of the content and service provided on this website and any other website operated and/or controlled by MicroDRO ("the Website") are subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Returns Policy and Disclaimer Notice on this website ("the Terms"). We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time, at our sole discretion. Your use of these services will mean that you expressly accept the Terms.

While we strive to provide accurate information, there may be inadvertent technical and/or factual inaccuracies and typographical errors, for which we apologize. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections at any time, without notice.

The content is provided "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE." MicroDRO does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, text, graphics, links, or other items contained on the site, and MicroDRO expressly disclaims liability for errors or omissions in these materials. MicroDRO makes no commitment to update the information contained on the site.

MicroDRO expressly disclaims all liability for the use or interpretation by others of information contained in MicroDRO Website. Decisions based on information contained in MicroDRO Website are the sole responsibility of the visitor, and in exchange for using the MicroDRO Website the visitor agrees to hold MicroDRO, its suppliers and its affiliates harmless against any claims for damages arising from any decisions that the visitor makes based on such information.

Fitting of products sold by MicroDRO is at the user’s risk. Any modifications made to the user’s machine tools (e.g. Lathe or Milling Machine) in order to fit these products are at the user’s risk. Use of this product is at the user’s risk. 

Measurement accuracy of the completed installation is highly dependant on numerous factors out of MicroDRO's control for example machine wear, user operational skill, quality of installation etc. As a result MicroDRO can make no guarantee to the measurement accuracy of the devices when installed in the user’s machine tools.

While MicroDRO makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the installation drawings and fitting instructions, MicroDRO cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies or faults in the installation drawings and fitting instructions.  

The MicroDRO sensors are intended to be fitted by a skilled individual. The installation drawings and fitting guides are provided as a guideline only, and the skilled individual should make their own judgement based on their own machine tool.

MicroDRO cannot be held liable for any damage caused to your lathe as result of installing or using this product.  

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

The personal information we collect may include your name, title, company or organization name, e-mail, phone. We may collect certain information about your visit, such as type of browser you use; the date and time you access the Site; the pages that you access while at the Site and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our Site. This information is used to help improve the Site and administer the Site.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We will never disclose your details to any third party.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

Product Warranty

MicroDRO guarantee all products (unless otherwise stated) for one year from date of purchase. During this period MicroDRO will repair or replace all defective products free of charge (return to base warranty), except for products/units subject to fair wear and tear, or those that fail as a result of improper installation. 

To qualify for benefits under the guarantee you must have installed and used the product in accordance with MicroDRO instructions or user manual supplied with the goods. Consequential losses and accidental damage to the product are not covered by the guarantee. MicroDRO cannot be responsible for results of using our products for any purposes other than those described in the relevant instructions or user manual.

Consumable items are not covered under this warranty. If at any time you are unsure as what is covered by our 12 month warranty please Contact Us.

Returns Policy

Our returns policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you have any specific queries regarding our returns policy please contact us at chris@microdro.com.

Goods ordered may only be returned within the first 14 working days for a full product refund, providing the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Goods returned must be received in as new condition.
  • Goods must be returned complete (including all packaging, cables, manuals, CD’s etc for that product). If any item(s) are missing when received then the product is deemed incomplete and will be returned to the purchaser.
  • All returns must be authorised, to request a return of a product please email chris@microdro.com
  • Carriage costs for returning the Goods are your responsibility.
  • The Goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by us.
  • All goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • When an order is cancelled, this is confirmed with the customer and cancelled off on our system. The refund will be processed and returned back to the original source of payment within 2 business days.
  • Goods which are returned for a refund are given a returns number and logged and inspected upon arrival. The refund will be processed and returned back to the original source of payment within 5 business days.

Any item(s) returned that are incomplete, damaged, used or without a valid RMA will not be accepted. Any goods that are damaged or require parts/labour to get in a saleable condition these costs incurred will be deducted from the refund total.
