Fixing Kit

1/4" x 1" BSF Bolt
1/4" Slotted Round Nut

The 1/4" BSF bolt replaces one of the bolts (Myford Part Number: KA9) that secures the front saddle strip (KA7).
The screw is intentionally longer than the existing Myford bolt to provide a way of securing the Saddle Sensor to the saddle, using the slotted round nut.

Low Profile Screw Rack Bolts

6 off 2BA x 1/2" Button Head Screws

These bespoke made screws replace the existing Myford bolts (Myford Part Number: G20) that secure the screw rack (Myford Part Number: G68) to the lathe bed.
They are low profile to allow the magnetic scale to fix to the screw rack. A T25 Torx key is required to tighten them.

Cable Guide

This part replaces the Apron Sealing Plug (Myford Part Number: LA19).

It provides a neat solution to hold the DRO sensor cable in position and prevent it from coming into contact with the leadscrew (Myford Part Number: G69).

Spare Felt Wipers

A spare length of felt wiper material, for use on the Saddle Sensor.

Magnetic Scale

The Magnetic Scale is accurately magnetically coded for the sensor to read.
Its covered in a protective brass strip, and is self adhesive with 3M VHB tape on the reverse.

Cable Assembly

The cable assembly is 1.5m long.
Electrically shielded to ensure signal integrity
Automatically resetting fuse at the head unit end, to prevent a snagged cable from causing damage to head unit or sensor.
